• Don't add sprite/monster overloads
Most people hate monster overloads because it just isn't fun, and it lags like crazy. Pay attention to the amount of monsters/sprites you use in your level.
• Don't add death warps
Death Warps are warps that instantly kill you, For example entering a pipe that leads you to pool of lava. This only makes the player frustrated, and it can lower your levels' rating a lot, so be careful with death warps.
• Don't steal someone's level, make a few changes and then upload it
Please make all of your levels yourself, and don't steal someone's level and do changes to it and then upload it. It's not fun for the players and for the original creator, and it's way more fun creating your own levels, try it! Even if you have no idea's, you often get them when you start working on the level.
• Don't make your level bland & boring
Don't just make a level with 1 line of grass and random ?-blocks and brick blocks and random enemy placed everywhere. Add some challenges, scenery & nice gameplay to your level! If people see you've put effort in your level, they're also more likely to rate higher.
• Don't spam power-ups
Don't spam power-ups in your levels, even in hard levels. Either stick to the difficulty of having some power-ups with a medium amount of enemies, or have a hard level with challenging obstacles and enemies with just a few power-ups (or even none if you want to)
• Don't make your level impossible to complete
Make your level possible for the player to complete your level. Kaizo levels are allowed, but make sure the player can reach the goal point. Impossible levels are also not allowed.
